Windows Media Player - version (pc)

To locate the version number of your Windows Media Player follow these instructions:

1. Launch Windows Media Player from your "Start - Programs - Accessories - Entertainment" menu.

2. Within Media Player, select the "Help" menu and select "About Windows Media Player".

3. The dialogue box will have the version number of your Media Player. It should be at least version 6.4 or higher.
